University College London and the Human Security Centre are teaming up to present an an in-person and online event exploring the desirability and practicality of building settlements in space. We will hear from the top speakers in the field who will outline the motivations, challenges and technologies behind the long-term human future in space.

Dr Robert Zubrin – President of the Mars Society and author, including of The Case for Mars and The New World on Mars: What We Can Create on the Red Planet (released Spring 2024)
Dr Erika Nesvold – astrophysicist and ethicist, author of Off-Earth: Ethical Questions and Quandaries for Living in Outer Space
Dr Myles Harris – Associate Lecturer and Off-World Living Institute lead at UCL, CEO and founder of Space Health Research
